We love solid Walnut wood tables! A recent table we made with a clear hardwax food safe finish. Can you imagine having a brekkie and a coffee on this table in the morning? ☕ Dovetail wood beams reinforce the table legs and top, making this an extremely solid table that will does not shift. The twist and turn on the design of these legs – which was a design feature requested by the client makes this a more interesting table. A shallow cavity adds a little dimension to the furniture piece.
We use OSMO Clear Matte for the top coat because it feels really nice and protects the wood for a really long time. Refinishing is easier than lacquer. Just lightly sand down to the wood and reapply the finish as needed. It is also made from natural ingredients. The oils and finishes from OSMO is developed and made in Germany.
