River Coffee Table with under storage

A Walnut slab Coffee Table with a grey tinted river. It’s made from one solid wood slab. We intentionally cut this diagonally in half, put the live edge side by side, and poured resin in between for this diagonal river design. An Axolotl charcoal/nickel coat on the cabinet attached beneath the table top. They are another studio that’s based in Hong Kong. Looks real great together and even greater in a nice old study room!⁠

We use OSMO Clear Matte for the top coat because it feels really nice and protects the wood for a really long time. Refinishing is easier than lacquer. Just lightly sand down to the wood and reapply the finish as needed. It is also made from natural ingredients. The oils and finishes from OSMO is developed and made in Germany.
